Our Individual Intensive Trauma Therapy (IITT) is a special outpatient service not covered by your health insurance benefit plan, and therefore not billable to your insurance company. An IITT costs $4,000 per week (not including hotel, meals, or transportation) and length of treatment is determined on a case-by-case basis after a preliminary assessment has been completed.

A down payment of 50% of the total balance is due before treatment dates can be scheduled and/or reserved for you. Deposits can be paid to the ITT Office Manager by credit card over the phone or by mailing a personal check.  A copy of the IITT financial agreement can be obtained through our business office or by clicking on the financial agreement link and must be signed and returned with your deposit.  Reservations made less than 1 week prior to treatment require a deposit with credit card by close of business on Friday before treatment begins.

 A 5% discount of the total bill (comes to $200 per week for weekday IITTs) is granted to individuals who pay the full balance prior to their first day of treatment.

Credit cards are welcome. We require a copy of your credit card in order to bill your monthly payment if another form of payment is not received by the due date. ITT accepts Visa, MasterCard & Discover.

No. Our IITT treatment is the only one we know of that provides 35 individual therapy hours in a week. Insurance companies including Medicaid and Medicare do not have a category for such a type of treatment. We will provide an itemized statement of your treatment but it is your responsibility to see if your insurance carrier will reimburse you.

At $4000 per week the cost of the IITT treatment is a better value than either a hospitalization or a partial hospitalization program where the majority of sessions are group sessions. This hourly cost is also less than the going rate for individual therapy in many metropolitan areas.

The IITT treatment dates are held exclusively for you and once you begin treatment, all fees are considered final (regardless if you attend the sessions or not) and are non-refundable.

If cancellation occurs at least 14 days prior to your first day of scheduled treatment your deposit is refundable, less $500 processing fees [to cover the clinical assessment, clinical telephone consultation(s), and administrative services provided]. Cancellations less than 14 days prior to scheduled treatment dates are subject to refunds less $1000.00 processing fees, unless those dates are able to be filled with another patient at which time the processing fees will remain at $500.
